Just the ghost town I thought it would be.
I know the title "semi-regular musings" must be completely confusing when it's turned into "once-in-a-blue-moon, if-you're-lucky musings."
I have about a dozen or so drafts that have left unpublished and I'm not entirely sure why. I have had mixed emotions over this place for awhile. For a couple reasons: 1. I'm feeling like I must censor myself more and more because I know the vast number of readers don't want to hear what's really been swirling in mah brains :::waves to my family & friends::: 2011-Q2 has been a challenging one and I know that if I start getting candid, side eyes will start showing. 2. I just don't have the time to lay it out there and get the side eye.
Sugarcoating has never been a strong suit of mine, so I can't sit here and be all fakey puppies and rainbows. I'm just not the kinda girl that can blow virtual smoke up anyone's ass. Although, if I was able to figure out that one I could be rich. Hmmmmm.
Who am I kidding? You're not here for me anyway. You're here for my little beauts and I can't blame you. They are much cuter and do much more entertaining things than me.
How 'bout I start back up with some pics? I have 348714798751368914 of them.
Quick update since it's been so long:
We now have a 1 year old. whoa.
AND she is walking. WHOA.
F is equally as astonishing. She recently got her first manicure. If you can call getting her nails painted by her less than talented manicurist. (me). She lost her mind over her pink nails. It was amazing.
